Experienced Arts & Heritage Professional with a demonstrated history of working in the cultural sector. Experienced in Exhibitions, Arts Development, Art Handling, Technical Services and Volunteer Management. Strong operations professional with experience working for Tate, Bradford Museums & Galleries, Ryedale Folk Museum. Freelance clients include National Museums of Science & Industry, Harrogate Museums & Galleries, English Heritage and Hull City of Culture.

In 1993 I began working at Tate St Ives as an Art handling Technician and subsequently as Curatorial Officer. This period of my life exposed me to the work of substantial professional artists such as Patrick Heron, Terry Frost, Sandra Blow, John Virtue, Anthony Gormley and many others.

From 1999, my professional focus shifted towards exhibitions and curating and I developed curatorial and exhibitions projects for museums and galleries for almost twenty years including; Pier Arts Centre, The Public, Bradford Museums and Galleries and most recently as Gallery Manager at Ryedale Folk Museum. 

Since 2010 I have worked as a freelance artworker developing projects, exhibitions, art handling and technical services for a range of museums, galleries and individual artists including; The National Railway Museum, The North York Moors National Park and Ryedale ArtWorks, Leeds City Museum, Green Howards Museum.

I am currently Senior Technician at Wonder Lab, National Railway Museum, York.
